      • Anti-nausea medications (Dramamine, Compazine, Bonine, Marezine, etc.).
      • Anti-vertigo medications (Antivert, Meclizine, etc.).
      • Tranquilizers (Valium, Librium, etc.).
      • Sedatives (sleeping pills, etc.).
      • Narcotics and barbiturates (Phenobarbital, Codeine, Benadryl, over-the-counter cold remedies, etc.).
  • Please continue all other medications as prescribed.
  • Discontinue alcohol and caffeine consumption at least 24 hours prior to the test.

*Do not discontinue any medications without first consulting your physician.

If you forget and take any of the above medications or drink alcohol, please call the office as soon as possible. Most likely it will be necessary to reschedule your appointment

The test will take approximately 60-90 minutes, so please be on time for your appointment. We do not require you to have a driver, but it is recommended as some people are more sensitive than others to this test.
