Meet Astkhik Amy Hakobyan, Au.D.

Astkhik Amy Hakobyan, AuD, holds a joint doctoral degree in Audiology from SDSU and UCSD, following a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UC Santa Barbara. Her passion for the field ignited while volunteering for the Armenian International Medical Fund. The organization’s work providing cochlear implants to hearing-impaired children in Armenia profoundly impacted her. Inspired by the challenges and triumphs of these families, Astkhik is dedicated to becoming an audiologist who can make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals affected by hearing loss.
